LatexED is an editor that helps to create Latex documents. It will integrate your tex environment and enable you to build latex documents (to .dvi, .pdf) and view it in dvi-viewer or Acrobat Reader. LatexED has also tools to insert latex elements (like symbols). LatexED is Freeware, so you can use it and distribute without restriction.
LatexED is now in development state. In fact developing of this tool started a few monthes ago. It is writen in wxWindows so it will portable. It also use the Scintilla edit control.
